Situated inside a very large farm in the centre of Sicily, the "casale del Gigliotto", once an old monastery, is built-up around a Sicilian "baglio" (a kind of courtyard). There are 14 rooms, two of them for disabled people, and a vast dining room. It is 9 Km far from Piazza Armerina and 15 km from Caltagirone.

The farm uses in its restaurant and sells a broad range of organic produce, like olive oil coming from the farm's oil press and wine produced with excellent quality grapes.
